Escorted Tour Details

If you are interested in pursuing an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) and plan to visit the campus, you may wish to participate in an escorted tour and admissions briefing. Offered during the academic year to middle school, high school, and post-high school students, tours can help individuals gain a deeper understanding of the Air Force Academy environment.

An escorted tour will consist of a presentation given by an admissions advisor (a recent graduate of the Academy), a question and answer session with an Admissions Counselor present, and a walking tour given by a current cadet. The Admissions Directorate does not offer escorted tours during summer and winter breaks. Registration for Fall 2017 escorted tours will open on 1 July for the following dates:

Aug: 28, 29, 31

Sept: 5, 18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 26, 28, 29

Oct: 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 23, 24, 26, 27

Nov: 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 20

Dec: 1, 4, 5, 7

In addition to the regular tours, three Game Day tours are available

23 Sept, USAFA vs. San Diego State University

14 Oct, USAFA vs. University of Nevada at Las Vegas

4 Nov, USAFA vs United States Military Academy

Touring campus is a physically strenuous activity that includes walking long distances, often uphill. Please dress comfortably and appropriately for our changing weather.
