Temporarily Closed

Although the U.S. Air Force Academy is temporarily closed to visitors, interested students and parents can sign up for virtual events, featuring live Q&A sessions with recently graduated lieutenants and virtual tours. Additionally, cadet-candidates interested in visiting campus can sign up for a Windshield Tour to view areas of interest on base. These tours do not include live briefings but will let you see the area firsthand. For outreach events held off-campus and hosted by an outside organization, such as Academy Days, Service Academy Workshops, College Fairs, and other events, please contact the hosting official listed under each event for the most up-to-date information.

Outreach Events

We Come to You

We know not everyone can make a trip to Colorado Springs to visit the United States Air Force Academy, so we offer several ways to connect with the Academy through our virtual outreach programs.

Find out if the Academy is right for you and get your questions answered in person by recently graduated cadets who have gone through the process, as well as admissions advisors and counselors who can help you make your application as competitive as possible.

Whether you’ve known your whole life you want to attend or just want to find out what the Academy is all about, we have an outreach event that’s right for you. Hear from recently graduated lieutenants about what you can expect from life at the Academy. Speak to admissions counselors to find out what you need to do to get a leg up on the admissions process and make your application as competitive as possible. Or speak to graduates who are not so recent and find out how the U.S. Air Force Academy has changed their life in the long run. If you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

All of our events are currently offered virtually. Please visit our Academy Day events page, or sign up to virtually tour campus, hosted by our admissions advisors and counselors. Please note that Academy Day events are not hosted by USAFA. Any questions should be directed to the hosting official, listed under the event description.

If You Have Questions, Come Get Answers

The majority of our events are held in the fall and spring, with fewer events in the summer months. To learn more about the Academy, find an event near you.

Sign up for U.S. Air Force Academy events that fit your location and schedule. For State/Congressional Academy Days, please contact the hosting congressperson’s office to verify time and place.
