If you are interested in pursuing an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy and plan to visit the campus, you may wish to participate in an escorted tour and admissions briefing. Offered during the academic year to middle school, high school, and post-high school students, tours can help individuals gain a deeper understanding of the AF Academy environment.
Escorted tours are conducted Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during the academic year. Generally starting the first week of September through the first week of May, we require reservations 10 days in advance of the day you would like to visit our campus.
For more on available dates, please go to Tour Reservations. Note: There are several dates where no tours are available due to various holidays or Academy events.
Touring campus is a physically strenuous activity that includes walking long distances, often uphill. Dress is business casual with comfortable walking shoes. If members of your party have limited or impaired mobility, you must bring a wheelchair and/or make arrangements for assistance. When you request your reservation, please let us know if you have special needs so that we may provide any additional information relevant to your situation.
